“The bad news is: time flies, the good news is: you’re the pilot”. It’s crazy to think we have come to the end of yet another month, it’s definitely true that as you get older, time passes you by so quickly. I’m a little late to the party but I’m now starting up my monthly favourite series.
So here we have a summary of my favourites from April 2018. There is no theme to this at all, it is literally a mix of everything i’ve been loving!
Western Belt (Tesco) – I had been wanting to get my hands on a ‘statement’ belt for a little while since they have been welcomed back in the craze of Fake Primark Gucci and Western Style Buckles. It wasn’t until I was getting ready for a night out that I finally gave in and bought one since I really needed something to finish off my outfit. This one I bought was from Tesco for £6.
MUA mascara (Superdrug) – For part of my uni assignment this semester I had to create a social media campaign, I decided to create it for a cheap mascara which. Since using it for ‘promotional purposes’, I have used it in my daily make up routine and looooove the way it makes my lashes look super long. I’m quite amazed that it was only £3 from Superdrug!
Depop – Adidas trainers – Depop is such a hit and miss site, sometimes there’s plenty of good items that you just want to buy everything, but others you see nothing you like. I came across some white Adidas Superstars for £13 including postage and I just couldn’t turn them down, they was nothing wrong with them, they just needed a little bit of a clean. I have since worn my £10 Adidas trainers multiple times, I honestly can’t believe it!
St. Tropez (Boots) – Now the sun is approaching us, we don’t want to wear summery clothes with pale skin. I tried St. Tropez fake tan in foam for the first time and I loved how it turned out, it didn’t make me look orange (that’s all we ever worry about), instead it made my skin look that slightest bit more sun kissed (I used medium) . We all know having a tan makes us feel so much better and more body posi, it’s just great all round!
Baileys – Call me an old lady, but I have become obsessed with Baileys. It’s like drinking a milkshake! I love all things sweet and creamy so Bailey is definitely my kind of vibe. I went to a cocktail bar and they had a delicious Bailey’s Frozen Cocktail and I can’t wait until the summer to replicate it – once i’ve mastered it, there will be a blog on the way!
